My favorite definition of Love is one that I came up with, actually...
"Love is a choice, not just an emotion. Love is choosing to love someone even when they are at their worst."
It's really sad that too many of today's young people associate just the "infatuation" as love- Because the infatuation doesn't last forever. And when it does go away, they think that the no longer love that person, and break up with them. They need to realize that the "Butterfly feeling" DOESN'T stay forever, that's a hollywood-version of love. True love is that little feeling that stays with you through-out the years that you can't quite discribe. It's that feeling that makes that person worth so much more to you than anyone else, and makes you realize that even when you're mad at them, you do still really do, love them.
i wonder who josh is talking about...um...lol! my FAVORITE meaning of love would be Jesus's Love...the kind that you would give up your life in order to save. My second favorite would be the cant eat, cant sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence in the World Series kinda stuff. Where you KNOW that that person was made for you to be with. When you KNOW that being in that relationship-whether is a friendship or a romantic one-that that person will help you grow in Christ and learn from each other and KNOW without a doubt that your relationship will last. and i KNOW that i have that realtionship now..
