Mini Skirts & Muscle Shirts: Is Fashion Dictated by Holiness?
This one may be a little more difficult to answer, but put your thoughts and ideas down. Think beyond the idea of girls and modesty (although that is part of it) and more toward how our clothing affects our witness, is evidence of the status of our relationship with Christ, and shows conformed thinking or transformed thinking...plus anything else relating to the idea of fashion and holiness.
We'll discuss them on Sunday!
If you're reading this, have some courage and take time to post!!! We promise we won't laugh at your comments...for too long!

Romans 12:2
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so you can do what is good and pleasing to God."
If women or men christians are wearing provacative clothing it shows non-christians that it is OK to wear something like that. These christians are giving a BAD example of Christ, since each one has an obligation to act like Christ. It also shows that that particular christian is conforming to a worldly view on dress code, other then Christ's veiw of modesty. This shows a unwillingness to surrender EVERYTHING to Christ. It also makes other christians stumble. All-in all christians should not wear such clothing.
*serena
Id have to agree with josh on dressing as the opposite sex. Now this is my opinion that most of your clothes should Honor Christ like my favorite sweat shirt of jesus on the cross that says i love you this much. Though not all of my clothes are christian but they arent vulgar or unchristian in anyway though. And agreeing with josh that I do believe God did lay down a "Christian dress code" so i guess that should hopefully tell us something and i did like the shirt i saw at winterfest that said body peircing saved my life. Thanks for reading it Ethan
P.S. its always good if you can fit Winterfest into a blog and comment lol so see ya Sunday.
well for me i think muscles are sooo HOTT!! so it would be better for guys not to wear muscle shirts around me cuz it will distract me if im tryin to witness to them or even when im not. Because i will start talking or thinking about how cute that guy was instead of talking or thinking about God and spending time with Him. It saids in the Bible that we shouldnt do nething that will cause others to stumble (even if that's eating meat...see i pay attention haha) so if wearing mini skirts or low cut shirts or muscle shirts causes others to stumble then no i dont think it's ok to wear those.
but i admit i DO like it when cute guys with muscles show it off...bad jess...*shrugs*
